Katherine P. Jordan
Katherine P. Jordan, 84,entered the peace of her Lord in the morning hours of July 13, 2016. She was born to Albert and Beulah (Napier) McCall, being the second of four children, in Stanton, Kentucky where she grew up before moving to Michigan after high school. She married Henry Jordan in 1956 who preceded her in death after only 18 years of life together. A devoted Christian, mother and grandmother, she never missed a chance to tell of how her Lord has supplied her every need. That was who she was, never fainting, though her life was filled with challenges. She taught Sunday school at Clinton Assembly of God and spent her days driving a bus for Manchester Community Schools, retiring in 1994 after almost 27 years. She called them “my kids, ” and was quick to correct, or give a hug as though they were. She loved them all. Surviving are four children; Doris (Gary ) Lee of Manistique, Mi., Henry Jordan Jr. of Clinton, Mi., Danny ( Connie) Jordan of Pellston, Mi. and Donna Jordan of Clinton, Mi; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4:00 P. M. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Clinton Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be 1:00 - 4 p.m. preceding the funeral service.
