Kenneth Dale Polley

On Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, Kenneth Dale Polley, age 82, of Dundee went to be with the Lord at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 31, 1940 in Dundee to the late Rolland and Hellen H. (Schultz) Polley.

Ken grew up in Dundee and attended Dundee High School. On September 30, 1966, he married Bonnie Staulter, sharing over 52 years together before her passing in 2019. Ken was a paratrooper in the United States Army and worked for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years.

He enjoyed rebuilding cars in his youth, fishing, reading, working outside on his property, and spending time with his family, friends, and his cat Baby. He was a husband, brother, father, and papa.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Tonya Polley (former husband Carey Bruce) and Tara (Don) Collier; sister, Marsha Miller; sisters-in-law, Sandy (Chuck) King and Linda (Ellie) Pipkins; grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) Miller, Cortney (Caleb Bettis) Bruce, Shawna Bruce, Ronnie (Diana Martinez) Harris III, Ashton Wilt, and Sarah (Tim Chvala) Collier; and six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Mich.
