Leldon Darryl “Dale” Terry
Leldon Darryl “Dale” Terry, age 56 of Tecumseh passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 at Tecumseh Place. He was born October 18, 1966 in Ypsilanti, the son of the late Leldon Darryl and Sandra Jane (Meyers) Terry.
Dale graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1986. He was a lifelong member of the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church. Dale worked at McDonald’s, a job he loved for over 30 years. He loved going to church, watching movies, but most of all spending time with family and friends. He was a devoted uncle, never missing any of his nephews’ sporting events.
Dale is survived by a brother, Robert (Julie) Terry of Tecumseh; two nephews, John Terry of Benton Harbor and Jimmy Terry of Ann Arbor; and cousin, Cassandra Meyers of Ypsilanti, along with other extended family.
Visitation for Dale will be from 1-3:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Brian Jones officiating. Private interment will be in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
