Leslie Ann (Davis) Johnson

Leslie Ann (Davis) Johnson, age 76 of Adrian, Mich., passed away on August 8, 2022. She was a wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend. 

Leslie was born October 22, 1945 in Wyandotte, Mich. to Rolland and Mary Davis. Leslie was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 55 years, Russell Johnson; son, Gregory (Kimberly) Johnson of Gardiner, Mont.; and her granddaughter, Madison (Zach) Johnson–Robertson of Canton, Mich. She is also survived by her sister, Terri Davis, brother, James (Donna) Davis and many nieces and nephews. All who loved her dearly. 

Leslie was a self-taught basket weaver who, over many years, honed her craft and weaved many beautiful and unique pieces of art. In addition to basket weaving, Leslie enjoyed traveling, gardening, many other crafts, puzzles, and politics. She was a devoted wife, great cook and baker. Her chocolate chip cookies were the softest around!
She was an incredibly generous and loving person, but never afraid to voice her opinion. Leslie loved socializing with friends and family. She had a terrific sense of humor all while enjoying a strong glass of Riesling! She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at a later date.
