Marilyn Deane (Shope) Hyatt
Marilyn Deane (Shope) Hyatt, age 72, passed away on May 26, 2022 at the ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital. Marilyn was born to Bobbi Ardith Shope and Leona Doone (Lisenbee) Shope on May 25, 1950 in Sunshine, Kentucky. She married Richard Lee Hyatt on August 10, 1968 and they had 53 years of life together. They had two daughters, Stacy Lee (Hyatt) Downing and Shawn Downing, Sabra Renee (Hyatt) Clark and Donald Clark; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Skye Downing and Isac Storm Downing; sister, Minga Ann (Shope) Boyce and Albert Boyce and their children; special friends, Judy and Gary Hanna; along with several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. The family would like to thank all of the personnel in the ICU at Hickman Hospital, especially Stacey, Ashley, Aren and Alicia that did a lot of little things to make her comfortable and feel loved.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, 1301 N. Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
