Mark Edward Cousino

Mark Edward Cousino, age 61 of Tecumseh passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at home.  He was born December 8, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of Paul Edwin and Bernice Joyce (Simonds) Cousino.

Mark proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed the outdoors fishing, gardening and raising chickens.

Mark is survived by his mother, Bernice of Tecumseh; children, Jocelyn (Richard) Darnell, Evelen (Ethan) Keating, and Aaron (Courtney) Cousino, all of Toledo; sister, Lori (Lee) Sharrar of Temperance; step-mother, Mary Cousino of Napoleon, Ohio; five grandchildren, Mason, Adasynn, McKenlee, Levi and Jase; nephew, Paul Sharrar of Temperance; uncle, Thomas Simonds and aunt, Sharon Simonds, both of Tecumseh; cousins, Mike (Margaret) Simonds of San Diego, Calif., Michell Simonds of Rossford, Ohio and Elena Simonds of Tecumseh. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, grandparents, Paul and Arilla Cousino and Walter and Bertha Simonds, and great uncle, John MacDonald.

Visitation for Mark will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Chris Lanham officiating.  Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with military honors by the U.S. Army.
