Rosalie A. Spycher

Rosalie A. Spycher, age 64, of Onsted, passed away into the loving arms of her parents and sister on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility, Adrian. She was born June 2, 1952, in Tecumseh, to Wilhelm and Anna (Sikula) Spycher. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1970. Rosalie had been employed by Garden State Tanning. She was a member of the Tipton Community Church and the Tipton Jets 4-H Club. She enjoyed baking with her mother in earlier years and especially helping with her dobish torte. She loved being on the family farm and working with her roses and flowerbeds at her home on Loch Erin and she especially enjoyed her niece and great-nieces and nephews.

Rosalie is survived by a brother, Wilhelm “Bill” G. (Jackie) Spycher of Tipton; one niece, Lisa (John) Hofmeister of White Pigeon, Mich.; great nieces and nephews, Logan, Grace, Lilly and Aaron; and a few dear cousins and her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a sister, Dianne Hoenig.

A special thank you to the staff and friends at Lenawee Medical Care Facility for going above and beyond to make Rosalie comfortable and happy throughout her stay.

Funeral services for Rosalie were held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Eric Hickman officiating. 

Visitation was held on Monday from 1 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.

Cremation followed the service with burial of cremains in Maple Shade Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton Community Church or to Lenawee Medical Care Facility to be used for “Sassy Curls” Salon inspired by Rosalie. Envelopes are available at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
