Steven Kent “Roscoe” Camburn

Steven Kent “Roscoe” Camburn, of Clinton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from a car accident.

Steven was born on November 2, 1947 the son of George and Wilma (Bredernitz) Camburn. He was a graduate of Saline High School, and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed tending the forest surrounding his home. Steven proudly served in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery and service. Steven was employed by Johnson Controls and Hoover Universal as a machine builder and continues to have many friends who worked there with him. He is survived by his wife Nancy, two brothers Jim (Eleanor) Camburn of St. Johns, Mich., and Keith Camburn of Charlotte, N.C. Also surviving are several cousins. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, George and Wilma Camburn; nephew, Michael Camburn; and many aunts and uncles.

Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Sunday, June 19 from 3-7 p.m. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at the Macon Township Cemetery in Macon Twp., Mich. Military Honors will be held under the auspices of the Washtenaw County Veteran’s Honor Guard. A luncheon will be held at the Saline American Legion following the graveside service.
