Theodore B. Herrst
Theodore Bradford “Brad” Herrst, age 68 of Tecumseh, passed away on October 12, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 6, 1955 in Ypsilanti, the son of the late Theodore Ralph and Susan Teresa (Rodriquez) Herrst.
Brad graduated in 1973 from John Glenn High School in Westland. He was very active in community service with the City of Wayne. Brad worked in the restaurant business which went along with his love of food. He loved to relax watching television.
Brad is survived by his brothers, Boyd Herrst and David Herrst, both of Tecumseh; his nieces, Holly Herrst of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Carmin Herrst of Tampa, Fla. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Carrie Herrst.
Visitation for Brad will be from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Tom Hawkins officiating.
Inurnment in Macon Cemetery will be at a later date. Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
