Virginia Louise Cook
Virginia Louise Cook age 96, of Tecumseh passed away August 31, 2022 at the Hospice of Lenawee. Virginia was born October 11, 1925 in Hillsdale, Mich., the daughter of William and Louise (Stahlhood) Waldner. On December 16, 1941 in Hillsdale she married the love of her life, J.D. Cook. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2012.
In her spare time she loved sewing, playing tennis and golf.
She is survived by her son, Michael Cook of Adrian and sister, Janet Wineland of Reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Cook; son, Jonathan Cook; parents, William and Louise Waldner; and sisters, Barbara Cooper and Nancy Elliott.
Funeral gathering was held from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Burial followed at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
