Arlene passed away peacefully on May 14 at the age of 99. She was born June 19, 1916 in Milan Township, Monroe County, Mich., to J. Emery Downing and Iva (Spencer) Downing.

Joyce Esther Stolte, age 90, passed away on May 12, 2016 at Herrick Manor. She was born on February 27, 1926 in Cheboygan, Mich., the daughter of Harry and Esther (Meden) Farrell. On January 25, 1947 in Detroit, Mich., she married August C. Stolte, Jr. and he survives.

Kevin S. Stone, of Tecumseh, Michigan, age 61, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born on November 7, 1954, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Paul E. and Betty Ann (Tice) Stone.

Blanche Anna Schafer went peacefully to be with her Lord on April 28, 2016, surrounded by family. God blessed her with 94 good years of serving Him, as well as her family. Blanche was born on February 5, 1922 in Wyandotte, Mich., the daughter of Joseph and Frieda (Sell) Schafer.

Shirley Barnhart, 75, of Lloyd, KY, died Saturday April 30, 2016 at Gaslight Village Assisted Living in Adrian, MI. Shirley was born August 21, 1940 in Worthington, KY a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Griffith) Sizemore.

Marjorie Almina Hunt, 93, of Superior Township, Mich., formerly of Tecumseh, Mich. and Apache Junction, Ariz., died April 27, 2016 in Superior Township. She was born June 1, 1922 in Newfane, N.Y. to Clarence and Alice Keller.

Linwood L. Wimple, age 87, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. He was born August 14, 1928, in Onsted to Lilburn and Margaret (Reed) Wimple. He was married to Olive Davis-Wooden. She preceded him in death.

Sylvia A. Measel, age 77, of Brighton, Mich., passed away December 11, 2015. She was born January 23, 1938 in Tecumseh, MI the daughter of Dr. Ralph and Edna (Mackenzie) Helzerman. Sylvia attended college at Michigan State University.
