Shelley Ruth (Handley) Jeffrey of Britton, died at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 1, after a fierce battle against breast cancer. She was born on December 2, 1967, to Richard Handley and Jane Lewis, who survive her.

Harold James (Barney) Amstutz, age 93, passed away peacefully, May 31, 2019 at his home surrounded by his children. He was born June 14, 1925 in Detroit, Mich., to Harry J. Amstutz and Leona (Teeke) Amstutz.

Dalton Thomas Shank, 14, of Piqua passed away unexpectedly as a result of a fire Sunday, June 2, 2019 at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. He was born on June 21, 2004 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Gregory (Tes) Shank of Marysville and Heidi (Dan) Caudill of Piqua.

Landin Dewayne Caudill, 10, of Piqua passed away unexpectedly as a result of a fire at 4:54 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2019, at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. He was born on September 3, 2008 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Daniel and Heidi (Black) Caudill of Piqua.

George Henry Heeman, age 76, of Tecumseh, passed away May 18, 2019. George was born May 17, 1943 in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of George W. and Hilda (Meyers) Heeman. On September 7, 1979 he married Geri Comfort and she survives. He was a 1964 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

Kent Alan Norris, age 58, of Tecumseh passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 21 under Hospice of Lenawee at home with family by his side. He had been bravely battling cancer for the past 21 months. He was born March 1, 1961 in Hillsdale, Mich., to William and Marilee (Wyatt) Norris.
