A discussion at Basil Boys in downtown Tecumseh the evening of Wednesday, March 30 brought together young adults interested in joining forces to learn from each other and become more civic-minded.

Mary Hadley of Tecumseh was taking a walk along North Evans Street one day, not far from her home, when something out of place caught her eye near the baseball diamonds.
“I wasn’t sure what it was, but when I walked over, I saw it was a softball,” Hadley said.

Survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse and sexual harm are finding help and support through The Healing Project, a program launched seven years ago by Parkside Family Counseling in Adrian. One such young woman--known as “Prudence”-- says that the program literally saved her life.
