Tecumseh has displayed its passion for baseball through the years by putting high school players on course for Minor League Baseball, having a suitable Little League Park for kids to cultivate their passion for baseball and softball and winning high school state titles on the softball diamond.

The proposed portage for kayakers and canoers soon will be a reality, after the Tecumseh City Council on Monday night approved funding the improvements as part of a larger project the Lenawee Drain Commissioner is planning for the Red Mill Dam.

A 1.75 mill sinking fund will be on the November ballot, a measure that the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education hopes will raise funds for repairs to Tecumseh Community Pool and to complete a variety of other capital projects in the district.
