Clinton football cruises to 7-0, beating Onsted 50-6

Onsted was the latest recipient of a Clinton clobbering, as the Redwolves won 50-6 on Friday at home.

It was the fourth consecutive game that the Redwolves won by more than 25 points. They led 22-6 by the end of the first quarter Friday.

Almost everyone seemingly received a hug from Tecumseh coach Greg Dolson after Friday night’s football game.

The Redwolves nearly swept the Wildcats, leading 23-19 in the third set before allowing Onsted to come back and win 26-24.

Tecumseh equestrian team wins regional title

Tecumseh won its second equestrian regional title in as many years Sunday at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.

The club team outscored Milan 787-667 in the two-team Region E of Division A. Both squads advance to the state meet.

Tecumseh golf closes season in regionals

Tecumseh saw its season end in a Division 3 regional Monday at Huron Meadows Golf Course in Brighton.

The squad finished seventh in the 11-team regional with a 410 score.

Junior Lucy Whelan was Tecumseh’s top golfer, tallying an 18-hole score of 90 to tie for 14th place.

Bryan scored five touchdowns to help lead Tecumseh to a 69-46 win at Jackson last week.

The running back scored on runs of 47, 33 and 10 yards and on a 72-yard kick return and an eight-yard catch.

Tecumseh golfer Lucy Whelan earns all-league honors

Tecumseh golfer Lucy Whelan secured all-conference honors after wrapping up the SEC White schedule this past week.

The junior finished fourth for the season in the White division and was the lone Tecumseh golfer recognized.
