Andrea Lynn (Sauer) Ueberroth

Andrea Lynn (Sauer) Ueberroth), 57, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on July 13, 1964 in Muncie, Ind., the daughter of Joyce and Walter Sauer, and they survive.

She was married to Joseph Ueberroth and he survives. 

In addition to her husband, Joe, Andrea is survived by her sisters, Katherine (David) Whelan, Julie (Chris) Cygan, and Karen; brother, John; nieces, Kaley, Jessica, Emilie, and Gianna; nephew, Drew; step-daughter and son, Lindsey and Tony; her treasured grandson, Landry; and many beloved family members. 

Andrea attended grade school in Houghton, Mich. and graduated from Calumet High School in 1983. She attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette and graduated from the police academy. Andrea spent most of her career in sales and hospitality management and created lifelong friendships along the way. Andrea’s favorite place on the planet was Key West where she spent many wonderful years vacationing there with her husband Joe and her parents.

Andrea will be remembered for her love of family, kind and loving spirit, crazy sense of humor and tremendous love for animals, particularly her dog Charlie whom she saved.

Andrea was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Helen and Geneva (affectionately known as Mime); grandfathers, Walter and Vern; uncles, Vern, John and Michael; aunt, Linda; and cousin, Christopher. 

A Celebration of Life honoring Andrea will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with memorial services following at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy, Oregon, OH 43616. 

There will also be a special memorial service for Andrea on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. at Al Quaal, 501 Poplar St., Ishpeming, MI 49849 with Pastor Mike Carriere officiating. Family and friends are invited from 12-1 p.m. in addition to time following the service until 4 p.m.
