Smith Park was awash in art last weekend during the annual Art in the Park art fair hosted by Community Arts of Tecumseh. Director Diane Savoia said the event was “enormously successful,” attracting visitors from as far away as Toledo, Jackson and Chelsea. Savoia said a collaboration with others hosting events over the weekend, including Promenade Tecumseh, helped increase awareness of the event. The juried fair featured a variety of art for sale while many of the artists performed demonstrations.
