Carol L. Langowski

Carol Lucille Langowski, age 82 of Adrian passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born July 2, 1941 in Manchester the daughter of the late Steven and Ruth (Rowe) Heselschwerdt. On January 2, 1960 in Manchester, she married Jerry Lee Langowski and they have shared 64 years together.

Carol retired as a secretary in the medical field. She enjoyed cooking, walking and traveling. Family was very important to Carol; she was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Carol had a kind heart and was always placing others’ needs ahead of hers.

Besides her husband, Jerry, Carol is survived by her children, Beth (Alan) Hine of Jackson, Brad Langowski of Clinton and Jill (Brian) Ford of Celina, Ohio; sister, Marie (Thomas) Snyder of Tecumseh; six grandchildren, Kyle (Kaycee) Hine, Jared (Monica) Hine, Megan Langowski, Matthew Langowski, Darren (Natalie) Ford and Spencer (Megan) Ford; two great- grandchildren, Sophia Hine and Ruth Ford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Frazier and brother-in-law, Rollo Frazier.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.  Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.
