Claudia Connors

Claudia Ann Connors, age 72, of Manitou Beach, Mich., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Michigan Medicine, Ann Arbor, Mich. She was born on January 31, 1953, in Tecumseh, Mich., the daughter of the late William and Audette (Force) Vollmer.
She was married to Michael Connors, and he preceded her in death (1997).
Claudia served as vice-president as well as plant manager for Faraday in Tecumseh, Mich. She was also a member of the Devil’s Lake Men’s Club. Claudia was a leader, caregiver, hard worker, loving family member, she had an adventurous spirit, and a joyful presence.
Claudia enjoyed time at the lake, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. She was truly a Wonder Woman in the eyes of her family and friends. Her courage to push boundaries and her unwavering spirit in pursuing what she loved left a lasting impact on those around her. Claudia’s ability to inspire and empower others was a testament to her remarkable character, and she will always be remembered as a true Wonder Woman.
Claudia is survived by her three children, Tim (Denise) Simpson of Tecumseh, Mich., Angila (Steven) Chapman of Chelsea, Mich., and Mike Connors of Manitou Beach, Mich.; her siblings, Deborah (Mark) Hayford of Tipton, Mich., Wendy (Jerry Haynes) Brandt of Adrian, Mich., William (Sherry) Vollmer of Tipton, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Samantha Wright, Chase Simpson, Grant Simpson, Blake Bales, Michael Connors III, John Chapman, and Calli Chapman, and one great-grandchild, Brandon Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. The family will have a Celebration of Life at the Tecumseh Golf Club on Saturday, June 14, from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions in honor of Claudia may be made to the Lenawee County Toys for Tots.
