Clinton wrestling club thanks sponsors for recent money auction

To the Editor,

I wanted to write this letter to take a moment to thank all that attended the money auction at the Golden Nugget in support of the Clinton Youth Wrestling Club. This event was held on October 24 and was a huge success.

We raised enough money to cover the cost for new mats for the walls in the wrestling room to protect our wrestlers of all ages from injuries against the concrete. That installation will be taking place very soon.

We will also spend money on wrestling camps and other needs for the program and its wrestlers of all ages. This affords all of them the opportunity to attend camps or other trips to improve their wrestling ability.

Once the wall mats are completed we will have been able to get a new practice mat for the wrestling room, a new mat for the middle school program and the new wall padding all in the last year. We could not have done all of that without the fantastic support from our community and wrestling families.

We also could not have done it without the fantastic support of all the following businesses.

We are just asking that if given the choice, please help support them in return.
