Donald “Don” Maurice Everett
Donald “Don” Maurice Everett, age 56 of Clinton died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021. He was born April 9, 1964 in Toledo, the son of Donald Carroll and Alice Adrienne (McIntosh) Everett. On August 19, 1995 at the Tecumseh United Methodist Church, he married Christine Ann Reid and they shared 25 years together.
Don was the owner of Apple View Orchard in Clinton and had a stall at the Eastern Market in Detroit for over 20 years selling fruits and vegetables. He loved watching NASCAR and being outdoors, camping, golfing and hunting.
Don is survived by his wife, Christine; parents, Donald and Alice Everett of Clinton; sister, Elizabeth (Paul) Blunden of Grosse Pointe Shores; nephews, Christopher (April) Blunden, Matthew Blunden, Greggory Blunden and Alexander Blunden; and two great nephews.
Visitation for Don will be on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes and a private family service will follow with Pastor Bill Face officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenawee County Humane Society and the Macon United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
