Donna J. Lamson

Donna Jean Lamson age 86, passed away at Adrian Bay Rehab and Nursing Center on September 16, 2024 with her sister at her side. She was born June 20, 1938, in Tecumseh, Mich., to the late William Simon and Margaret Isabelle (Rogers) Lamson.  

Donna was a high school graduate who went on to work in the grocery industry. She was a member of Tipton Community Church as well as Hudson First Congregational Church. Donna was a very kind and patient person who made friends everywhere she went. She had the patience of a saint. She also was very much interested in the world around her, and particularly appreciated and enjoyed experiencing outdoors and nature. Donna also had a special love for animals.

Donna is survived by her sister, Nancy McNeil of Tipton, Mich.; two cousins, Mary Jo (Patrick) Fero of Glen Rock, Penn., and Kathryn (Jon) Hoover of Adrian, Mich.; several family members in Jefferson City, Mo.; and a dear friend, June Aument. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lawrence McNeil.

According to Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and her final resting place will be in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh. The family will be planning a future Celebration of Life.
