Donna Jean Brumm Mason

Donna Jean Brumm Mason, age 82, of Tecumseh died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born October 2, 1938 in Detroit, a daughter of Clifton and Lois (Crooks) Blatter. On August 8, 1956 she married Edward Brumm. They shared 30 years together before his death on February 11, 1986.

Donna retired from Ford Motor Company in 1998 after 30 years of service. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, golfing and loved to travel. She was a volunteer for several years with the Herrick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Judith (Michael) Lewis of Fitchburg, Mass. and Cheryl (Ed) Hull of Tecumseh; sister, Barbara Benjamin of Brooklyn; five grandchildren, Jada and Dustin Lewis, Jessica and Jason Ehrlich and Rob Whittemore; and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband Ed, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Ehrlich.

In accordance to Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Brookside Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lenawee, Lenawee County Humane Society or donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
