Dorothy M. Rogers
Dorothy May Rogers, age 97, passed away September 25, 2024 at Evangelical Home in Saline, Mich. She was born in Manchester, Mich., the daughter of Glen and Bertha (Uhr) Adams.
Dorothy married Leslie “Bud” Rogers on December 23, 1950. He preceded her in death. She attended Manchester United Methodist Church for many years.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, James (Terry) Rogers and Steven Rogers, all of Tecumseh, Mich.; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sheila Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie Langowski and Lillian Hlavka; brothers, Robert and Baby Adams; and granddaughter, Patricia Christensen.
In Dorothy’s honor donations may be shared with Evangelical Home Saline or Arbor Hospice.
Cremation arrangements were made at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Mich. No services are planned at this time. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Mich.
