Florence L. Miller

Florence L. Miller, age 98, of Tecumseh, passed away April 16, 2021.

Florence was born November 24, 1922 in Fife Lake, Mich., the daughter of Don and Marion (Dickinson) Hunt. On October 30, 1941 she married Stanley Miller and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2010. 

Florence was a graduate of Tecumseh High School. She was a member and past matron of Tecumseh  O.E.S. #51 and the Herrick Memorial Auxiliary. At one time she was a 4-H Club leader, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, past mother advisor of Adrian #44 Rainbow Girls, Chairman of the Herrick Nursing Home and worked for many years for God’s Bread Basket.

Florence is survived by her children, Eldon (Mary) Miller, James (Karen) Miller,  Beverly (Marvin) Stottler and Lucinda Hand, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  
In addition to her husband, Stanley, she was preceeded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

At her request cremation has taken place and graveside services will take place at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh at a later date. Memorials in memory of Florence may be made to Elara Caring Hospice. Condolences to the family may be made online at pursefuneralhome.com.
