G. Leroy Brugger
G. Leroy Brugger, age 101, of Tecumseh, formerly of Clinton, died, December 4, 2020 under the care of his family and Hospice of Lenawee. He was born June 17, 1919 in Temperance, the son of Ezra and Minnie (Ferrow) Brugger. On June 9, 1952 he married Margaret Brown. She preceded him in death on April 19, 2006.
LeRoy resided in the Clinton area for over 40 years and was retired from farming. He was a member of the Tecumseh Friends Evangelical Church and Farm Bureau.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Clifford (Rebecca) Brown, Ph.D. of Virginia, and Richard Lee (Maryann) Brown of Clinton; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Margaret, Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jim Brown,; two brothers, DeArle Brugger and Leon Brugger; and two sisters, Valdine Kidd and Betty Ann Harper.
Private graveside services were held in Ridgeway Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Lenawee or The Salvation Army. Condolences may be offered online at pursefuneralhome.com.
