Harold Harvey Robinson

Harold Harvey Robinson. age 78, of Adrian, passed away December 13, 2015. Harold was born May 21, 1937 in Rochester, Mich., the son of Harvey and Rhoda Robinson. On June 8, 1968 he married Sharon Shadbolt.

Harold lived in the Tecumseh area his entire life, graduating from Tecumseh High School in 1955. Harold worked for both the City of Tecumseh and the Tecumseh Products, retiring in 2000 and 1998, respectively.  After retiring, he worked for the Britton Elevator.

He served his country in the U. S. Army from 1959-1962.

His favorite past times included his granddaughters and scouting. In his 50 years of scouting he held many titles and earned many awards, including the highest distinguished award, The Silver Beaver Award. Harold will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, Harold is survived by his daughter, Marsha  (Samuel Simpson) Weber; granddaughters, Stephanie (Josh Senft) Weber and Samantha Weber;  son, Kevin (Kathy) Robinson; granddaughters, Heather, Victoria, Jessica and Jennifer Robinson; sisters, Rosemary Relitz, Joann Sneary, Inez Sloan; sister-in-laws, Carol Simpkins, Kathy (Del Bates) Hall; brother-in-law,  Pete (Janet) Shadbolt and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ilene, Eleanor and Barbara and brother, Duffy.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Michael Wilson officiating.   

Military honors followed  by  the U. S. Army Honor guard and the Tecumseh American Legion. 

Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at the funeral home and one hour preceding the service on Wednesday.
