Holiday Concert
Tecumseh Center for the Arts
The Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus present their annual holiday concert. Join in the fun as we travel around the world with holiday music from the United States, Austria, England, France, Germany, and Scotland.
The Community Chorus' performance, led by third year conductor Bill Abbott, will include such beautiful songs as Merry Christmas, Darling; The Holiday Season; Pat-a-Pan; Joy to the World; and O Holy Night.
Also in his third year is the Tecumseh Pops Orchestra Director and Music Director, Joe McInchak. Under his direction, The Pops Orchestra will perform many holiday favorites, including Sleigh Ride, Fantasy on Auld Lang Syne; We Wish You a Merry Christmas; Around the World at Christmastime, featuring songs from France, Italy, and Poland; Christmas on Broadway, and more.
The two groups come together to present Kay Thompson's Jingle Bells, and as is tradition, the Orchestra and Chorus will also combine to perform annual favorite, Hallelujah Chorus from "The Messiah."
Tickets are priced at $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, and military. Get your tickets in advance by calling 517-423-6617.

The Tecumseh Herald is distributed throughout Lenawee County. Each edition of the newspaper is printed and delivered to newsstands every Wednesday evening and to the U.S. Post Office for Thursday delivery to subscribers.
