JOHN E. CLEGG
John E. Clegg, 65, of Adrian, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 3, 1942, in Adrian, to Robert and Lillian (Osenko) Clegg. On August 19, 1972, he married Connie Jarosemich in Monroe, and she survives. John served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1965. He was a member of the Adrian Moose Lodge where he served as governor, and also a member of the Adrian Eagles.
John was an outdoor dad, he loved golfing, bowling, playing softball, coaching baseball and fishing. He was an avid University of Michigan football fan. John will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jason Clegg of Columbus, OH and Jackie Clegg of Kalamazoo, MI; and three nieces, Tammy, Sarah and Allison Clegg. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services were private. Cremation followed the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family of John Clegg or to Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home.
