Kathleen A. Schultz

Kathleen A. Schultz, 81 of Adrian, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.

She was born December 15, 1939, in Hillsdale, Mich. to the late Henry and Leona (Tuckerman) Meyer, and graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1958.

On June 24, 1961, she married Stephen Schultz at Raisin Valley Friends Church and he preceded her in death in 2019.

Kathy worked in radiology for several organizations including the former Bixby Hospital and Adrian Radiology. She faithfully attended Raisin Valley Friends Church. When she was younger, she enjoyed fishing and camping with her family.  In retirement Kathy and her husband traveled throughout Michigan visiting lighthouses.  

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Schultz of Tecumseh; daughter-in-law, Sanguan Schultz of Britton; granddaughter, Jennifer Schultz also of Britton; and her siblings, Barbara Young and Thomas (Jeanette) Meyer, both of Tecumseh.

In addition to Stephen, her husband of over 58 years, she was preceded in death by her son, Bryan on December 10, 2020.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 26, at Wagley Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kathy are suggested to Lenawee Humane Society or Raisin Valley Friends Church.  

Following the governor’s executive order, all attendees are required to wear a proper face covering, with the exception of those under the age of five years old or those who cannot medically tolerate.
