Laura J. Warden

Laura Jean Warden (Hughes) of Phoenix, Ariz. entered into Eternal Rest on April 15, 2024 in her home in Phoenix at the age of 69.

Lauri was born on March 1, 1955 in Jackson, Mich. to the late Eunice (Nichols) Gray of Michigan and Paul Hughes of Arizona. Lauri was married to Michael Jordan of Britton, Mich. and later to Roy Fehrle of Ann Arbor, Mich. Both preceded her in death.

Lauri ventured through numerous career paths, including food service, nursing, accounting, cosmetology, and hotel service. In her younger years, she volunteered for the Ridgeway Fire Department and American Red Cross and then later in life volunteered with the Garfield Neighborhood Organization, which lead to her being treasurer for the Garfield Organization Board of Directors.

Lauri had many interests such as tattoos, crafts, refinishing antique furniture, golfing, bird watching, and visiting her granddaughter, Addi. She was an avid viewer of all Magnolia Network DIY shows.

Lauri is survived by her son, Michael Jordan (Nikki Keller) of Phoenix and granddaughter, Addilyn Smith Jordan, of Phoenixville, Penn.; three sisters, Linda May of Tecumseh, Mich., Lisa Corey of Tecumseh, and Jo Schulze of Adrian, Mich.; two brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Gray of Clayton, Mich., and Randall (Michelle) Gray of Adrian; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lauri was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Eunice Gray and Joe Gray, as well as her beloved cat, Tiffy.

Lauri was a strong willed, beautiful person inside and out. She cared deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed… Until we meet again.
