M. L. “Lee” Francoeur

M. L. “Lee” Francoeur, age 75, of Bath, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away November 25, 2015.

Lee was born January 17, 1940 in Hamilton, Ala., the daughter of Denton and Gladys (Robinson) McCarley.

At an early age, Lee moved with her parents to Tecumseh, attending Tecumseh schools and graduating from Tecumseh High School. She furthered her education attending Jackson Business College. 

Lee retired as a secretary from Adrian Dominican Sisters after 12 years of service. She was a woman of many talents and interests:  cooking (second to no one), fishing with her husband, stamp it up cards, water color and acrylic painting.

Lee is survived by her husband, David of 55 years; son, Marcus and a sister, Mavis of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and Dale McCarley.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Eric Hickman officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday preceding the service.

Thoughts of remembrance many be made to Hospice of Lenawee or Hospice of Lansing.
