Many people benefit from community pool, asks for millage support
To the Editor,
As a former board member, I attended a meeting of the Friends of the Tecumseh Community Pool. It was so ex-citing to hear of the progress and accomplishments that have been made, and to hear of plans for the future!
We are so fortunate to have the community pool here in Tecumseh.
So many benefit, children learn to swim, get involved in Tiger Sharks, many advance to the swimming teams to compete with other schools, breaking records — wow! Great!
Even more mature people take advantage of lap swimming and water aerobics.
I’m so thankful to be able to exercise there two to three times a week. It is a great place to exercise and socialize.
