Mark Spivey
Mark Arlis Spivey, age 63, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his home in Saline, Mich. He was born on September 27, 1961, in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of Suzanne (Hite) Boozer.
After graduating high school, Mark spent his working years in the construction industry. He loved woodworking and shooting his pellet gun. He also enjoyed drinking beer and having a good time.
Mark is survived by his son, Corey (Katrina) Spivey of Manchester, Mich., his daughter, Nicole (Jared Smith) Spivey of Clinton, Mich.; his mother, Suzanne Boozer of Tecumseh, Mich.; the mother of his children, Sally Spivey of Manchester, Mich.; three grandchildren, Tayton Spivey, Gage Simpson, and Emmet Achtenberg; and his sister, Cynthia (Ed) Zietlow, of Tecumseh, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Boozer.
At his request, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mark from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 at his mother’s house. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
