Nadine Seitz

TECUMSEH — Nadine Rose Seitz, age 92, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at Jackson County Medical Care Facility in Jackson, Mich. She was born on Dec. 30, 1933, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Mack) Carney. She was joined in marriage with Raymond Eugene Seitz, who passed away in 1975.

For much of her life, Nadine regularly attended services at the Tecumseh United Methodist Church. She was a supporter of her community and served as a city council member for a number of years as well as contributing as a member of the Tecumseh DDA. She enjoyed relating and working with people, and she put those traits to use in her many years of work as a customer service representative in the retail industry.

Nadine is survived by her daughter Lynne (Stephen) Weiss; her grandchildren, Gary (Stacey) Beebe, Erika Beebe, Raj Bater, Jennifer (Joshua) Compau; her great-grandchildren, Taylor (Tony) Cooper, Alex Beebe, and Owen, Luke, Evan and Rhys Compau; and her brother, Jon E. Smith, of Fort Myers, Fla.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Raymond, Nadine was preceded in death by her daughter Vickie Beebe and her brother, Terry Carney.

A funeral service for Nadine will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.
