SARAH ELOISE CLARK
Sarah Eloise Clark, 100, of Adrian, died Sunday, February 24, 2008, at Tendercare of Arian. She was born October 1, 1907, in Sand Creek, MI, to Jarvis and Marnir (Shea) Rathbun. On December 31, 1936, she married Wayne Clark in LaGrange, IN. He preceded her in death in December of 1971.
Eloise attended the Weston Church. She was a fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Pistons. She loved to garden.
Eloise is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Clark of Adrian; her grandchildren, David Clark, Deborah and Dennis Pifer, Diane Clark, Daniel Clark, Deanna Clark, Denise Clark, and Deloris and Michael Osborne; two great-grandchildren, Jack Pifer and Carter Clark; and five nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she was preceded in death by a son, John Clark and a daughter, Jean Ward and three brothers, Carroll, LeLand and Ivan.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Weston Baptist Church or Sand Creek Community Schools. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home.
