Tecumseh Service Club thanks community for food pantry donations

To the Editor,

What a generous and caring community we have in Tecum-seh! The Tecumseh Post Office recently coordinated their Stamp Out Hunger food drive for the Service Club’s food pantry. The mail carriers collected 1,200 pounds of canned goods! We greatly appreciate the donations from everyone and the carriers for picking up the goods and bringing them back to the post office.

Another big thank you goes out to the community for purchasing the ABC food bags, available through Busch’s, for our food pantry. We received 120 individually packaged bags of groceries specifically to be used to feed local children this summer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible for Tecumseh Service Club to continue helping those in our community especially during the summer months. We very much appreciate the support.
