Todd A. Bower
Todd Allen Bower, age 57, passed away on August 13, 2024, in Britton, Mich.
Todd Bower was born on October 19, 1966 in Tecumseh, Mich., to Allen and Nina Bower. Todd was known as Big Red to many, with a big heart and a helping hand. Todd had the gift of gab and never met a stranger.
Todd graduated from Britton-Macon Area School in 1984 and went on to become a certified meat cutter. He worked in that field for close to 40 years. After work hours, Todd loved to process deer for local hunters and swap stories.
Todd married Lori Bower on September 20, 2004 in Las Vegas. They loved to travel with a favorite destination of Northern Michigan. They shared a love of the outdoors and built a wonderful life together. They were not only partners, they were best friends.
Todd was best known for his love of hunting, fishing, and trapping. He loved God, his family, community and watching U of M football. He was a great husband, son, brother, amazing uncle and friend. He will be missed by many.
Todd is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lori Bower; his mother, Nina Bower; sister, Andrea (Jeffrey) Mason; brother, Scott (Kimberly) Bower; beloved nieces, Megan, Sara and Ava Bower; and beloved nephews, Andrew and Matthew Mason.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Allen Bower.
The Celebration of Life for Todd Bower will be held on September 7 at 11 a.m at Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene, 6886 S. Ridge Hwy, Britton.
