Vickie L. Kinkade
Vickie Lynn Kinkade, born January 10, 1948 died peacefully on October 14, 2024 with her family at her side.
Vickie was the eldest of three children, Debbie (Mike) Baylerian and Gail (late Albert) Crosby. She had eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ross Gillikin, and mother, Annabelle Cousins. Vickie is survived by her loving children, John (Robin) Sabbadin and Michele (Aaron) Phillips. She was most proud of her grandchildren, Kendra Sabbadin (Thomas Cooper), Rachel Westgate (Cody Ross), Courtney Sabbadin (Charles March) and Kyle Phillips (Madison Gotts). Most recently she welcomed her first great-grandchild Brayden and bonus great-grandchild Memphis.
Vickie volunteered her time with the Tecumseh Kiwanis Club where she served as president and loved working the infield entrance at Michigan International Speedway. You could always find her collecting antiques or making wreaths for all to enjoy.
A celebration of life was held for Vickie at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes with Pastor Richard Mortimer officiating.
Inurnment took place privately at Brookside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh Scholarship Fund. Online condolences may be made to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
