William S. Anderson

William Stacey Anderson, age 75, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away, March 27, 2024 at Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by his family. He was born May 24, 1948, in Tecumseh, the son of Lynn and Freda (Hebb) Anderson. On June 16, 1979, he married Shar F. Rentschler in Tecumseh. She survives.

Stacey was a graduate of Tecumseh High School Class of 1967. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam era. Stacey was a member of Tecumseh American Underwood Orr Post #34. He was currently employed with Comfort Enterprises, Tecumseh. Stacey loved to hunt, fish and go camping. He thoroughly enjoyed the annual turkey camp trip with his brothers and sons.

In addition to his wife Shar, Stacey is survived by his son, Ryan Anderson; daughter, Lisa (Shane) Wilson; two grandchildren, Gracie and Royce Anderson; two brothers, John (Nelva) Anderson and Dan (Kathy) Anderson; and sister, Sheila (Phil) Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, at Purse Martinez Funeral Home with Rod Carver officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens with military honors performed by Tecumseh American Legion Funeral Honors Team.

Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, and one hour prior to funeral services Thursday at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
