Xavier W. Kondrat

Our son, Xavier Watson Kondrat, age 23, left us very unexpectedly and way too soon. With both of his parents, Jason and Kacey Prichard, close family, and Josh and Patti Lawrence at his side, he passed peacefully on Aug 4, 2024, at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home in Adrian, Mich.

Xavier was able to donate to the Gift of life and was cremated at American Cremation Events in Toledo, Ohio.

Xavier was born on February 1, 2001, in Petoskey, Mich. He is the son of Jason and Kacey Prichard, of Tecumseh, Mich. and Mike Kondrat Jr. of Boyne Falls, Mich. They say it takes a village and Xave had one. He is survived by his parents; siblings, a sister, Madaline,  and brother, Hayden; Buck his dog; grandparents, Ron and Valinda Turner, of Boyne Falls, John and Tina Krzywada, of Cedar Springs, Mich., Mike Kondrat Sr., of Boyne Falls and Lori Kondrat, of Petoskey, Mich.; two great-grandmothers, Ruth Prichard, of Tavares, Fla., and Nancy Lawrence, of Plano, Texas. In addition, he has Willy and Kris Fuller, Uncle Will and Aunt Korey LaTourneau, Uncle Dan Prichard, Uncle David and Aunt Amy Turner, many cousins and friends that live on to share the memories.

Xave was an adventurous and outgoing young man who was always on the move. From learning to ride dirt bikes at the age of three in Northern Michigan, making friends that enjoyed the same hobbies in Pennsylvania to moving to Colorado at the age of 19 to start welding and making memories.

In Colorado he enjoyed dirt biking in the mountains, desert and on a track. He came back to Michigan to continue his career in welding and fabricating. Xavier made friends and had fun everywhere he called home. He has touched so many people’s lives in his travels and we learn new things every time we meet someone who knew him.

 There will be a service held August 24 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tecumseh. Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m., with the service at 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon held at Tecumseh Brewing Company’s production site on Russell Road immediately following until 3 p.m. We invite all who knew Xave to come and share stories and good memories. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Hospice of Lenawee, Hospice Home in Adrian.
