Lois J. Geiger

Lois Jean Geiger, age 89 of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at home with her family by her side. She was born March 5, 1935 in Clinton, the daughter of the late Frederick Rudolph and Gladys Marion (Coon) Geiger.

Lois was a lifelong resident of Clinton and a proud graduate of Clinton High School class of 1952. She worked as a bookkeeper for her son’s restaurant (Café Muse) until last year. Prior to that, she worked at H&H Property Management and Clinton Products Company, Inc. Many folks that have been around town for a while will remember that Clinton Products, which was her parents’ factory, was located where Eden Foods now sits. In her free time, Lois enjoyed traveling. She also cherished time with her family, her friends, and her home.

Lois is survived by her children, Pamela (Reyner) Richard, and spouse Terry of Ocala, Fla.; Audrey Renee (Reyner) Anderson and spouse, Warren of Dunnellon, Fla.; Valerie (Reyner) Muck and spouse, Jerry of Ocala, Fla.; and Gregory Reyner and spouse, Bryan Mogollon of Detroit; five grandchildren, Brian Richard, Jason and Nicholas Anderson, Erin (Muck) Iverson and Steven Muck; nine great- grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by Henry Vaughan, her high school sweetheart whom she re-found love with after 50 years; a sister, Eva (Geiger) Sellers; and a brother, Charles Geiger.

A private family graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton. A Celebration of Life for Lois will be held on June 21 at 1 p.m. at the Historic Clinton Inn. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of Lenawee. Arrangements are under the care of the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.
