Leona Cottrell
Leona Cottrell, age 73, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away January 28, 2025.
She was born January 25, 1952, in Wallins Creek, Ky., the daughter of Elmer and Ada (Hodge) Cottrell.
Leona retired from Ford Motor Company, Saline Plant. Leona was an animal lover, and adored her cat “Baby.”
She is survived by three children, Tom (Laura) Cottrell, Jewell (Tim) Bryan, and Craig Osburn; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Deb) Wilson, and Reba Creger; and numerous, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; sister, Spicy; and ex husband, Bruce Osburn, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI with Pastor Jodi Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
Visitation will take place on Friday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Lenawee County Humane Society.
