Edward Henry Clark

Edward Henry Clark, age 90, of Clinton, Mich., passed away on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 at Bridgeway Park Assisted Living in Tecumseh. He was born on December 25, 1935 in Macon, Mich., a son of the late Edgar John and Myrtle Alice (Poet) Clark. On June 25, 1955, Ed married Wilhelmine Elmira Rhoades in Macon and they shared over 68 years together until her passing in 2023. Ed worked as a pattern maker for R & B Machine Tool in Saline for over 35 years.

After retirement he started Woods Unlimited which he owned for several years.

Ed was a member of Macon United Methodist Church for several years and enjoyed being a very active member. He joined the Macon Township board in the 1960s and held various offices with the township until just recently.

He is survived by his two boys, Edward (Cindy) Clark Jr. of Tecumseh and John (Lisa) Clark of Savage, Minn.; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg) Norland, Matthew (Stormy) Clark and Tom (Caroline) Clark and seven great-grandchildren, Adyelene, Ryan, Cayden, Evelyn, Zach, Hadleigh and Mason. Along with his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Tucker and Jane Beal and a half-brother, Edgar Clark, Jr.

A celebration of life for Ed will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Macon United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Carl Bishop and Rev. Michael Vollmer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the celebration at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Macon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or Macon United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
