Jennifer Kaye Adams

Jennifer Kaye Adams, born Dec. 30, 1975, in Tecumseh, Mich., passed away on Aug. 27, 2026. A 1994 graduate of Clinton High School, Jennifer worked at Eden Foods, the village of Clinton and Busch’s Fresh Food Market.

She loved her community deeply and was always ready to help those in need. Jennifer was a dreamer who loved to travel and enjoyed the journey just as much as the destination, especially with her loving husband by her side. Above all, she poured her heart into her family. She passionately advocated for her son, Brenden, and proudly rooted for Samantha in all her endeavors. Her love for her family was at the center of everything she did. In her downtime, she was an avid reader and enjoyed hosting gatherings for friends and family.

True to her generous spirit, as Jennifer requested, she has given the Gift of Life and has chosen cremation, being cared for by Handler Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Adams, and her children, Brenden and Samantha Coots-Adams. By her parents, Timothy and Toni Ciersezwski, Dennis Tripp, Maynard (Debra) Hills, and Timothy and Linda Adams.

Her siblings include her brothers, Dennis (Jeanna) Tripp, Timothy (Cheryl) Ciersezwski, Scott (Brandy) Adams and Kristofer (Kimmy) Ciersezwski; sisters, Krystal (Dan) Fauls and Stacy (Rick) Wadas. Aunts and uncles, including Deena (Don) Mapley, Mike (Susana) Roup, Steve (Grace) Roup, Dixie (Bob) Wetherell, George (Paula) Tripp, Melonie Usher, Bradley (Kim) Tripp, Vanessa White, Pat Mattis, Joan Foster and Vickie (Mike) DeLisle, along with many loving cousins, nephews and nieces.

Holding a very special place in Jennifer’s heart were her grandmother, Norma Jean Roup; her uncle, David Eugene Roup; grandparents Bill and Edna Miller; grandparents Barbara (Roger) Young; and aunts and uncles, Tom Tripp, Rhoda Barnes, Diana Starr and Sherri Tripp, all of whom previously passed away.

A Celebration of Jennifer’s Life will take place on Sept. 12, 2026, at Smith-Kimball Community Center in Clinton from 2-6 p.m. Please come for cake and storytelling.
