LOIS REUTER
Lois Reuter, 84, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008. She was born February 9, 1923, in Hudson, to Daniel R. and Catherine Mae (Malarney) Monahan. On July 6, 1946, she married Bernard Reuter, Sr. in Pontiac and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2004. Lois was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are her six children, Bernard Reuter Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Hudson, Martha Meyers and her husband, David, of Adrian, Carl Reuter and his wife, Ellen, of Somerset, Philip Reuter and his wife, Linda, of Hudson, Jane Kline and her husband, Tom, of Hudson, Joe Reuter and his wife, Winnie, of Plano, TX; one sister, Lucy Hartley of Hudson; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Hendrickson and Regina Hafner and one brother, Bud Monahan.
The Funeral Liturgy was held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Richard Eberle as celebrant. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. A Vigil Prayer Service was held on Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home.
