ROBERT L. MAHER
Robert L. Maher, 74 of Tecumseh, died Monday, February 18, 2008 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 1, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the son of Leonard and Marian (Nordstrand) Maher. He was married to Zoe Ann Burns in April 1964 and she survives.
Robert was a graduate of Michigan State University and was employed by Mobil Oil Company as a Marketing Sales Manager for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He was an avid fisherman, deer hunter, and outdoorsman, a great baseball fan and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to his wife Zoe Ann, Robert is survived by one son, James Maher of Jackson; three daughters, Ann Maher of Monroe, Sharon Maher and Meigan Maher both of Tecumseh; one brother, John Maher of San Antonio, TX; and one sister, Suzanne Broski of Rockford, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Robert will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place at his request. There will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
