ALBERT (AL) MINOR

Albert (Al) Minor, 85, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2008, at home surrounded by his loving family along with Gloria and Lisa, his Hospice Caregivers.  Albert was born October 28, 1922 in Jackson, MI to Merle and Charlotte (Lamming) Minor.  

He attended Pittsford Schools.  On September 27, 1947, he married the love of his life, Lois Pate, in Osseo, Michigan and she survives.

Albert was a member of Clinton Baptist Church.  He was a devoted family man and was dearly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be truly missed and never forgotten.  He was an electrician for the Village of Clinton for 30 years retiring in 1986.  

In addition to his loving wife Lois, he is survived by his two daughters; Louise (Denver) Brown of Tipton and Brenda (Gary) Allen of Clinton, four grandchildren; Chris (Pamela) Brown of Greenville, SC, Kelly (Kevin) Baughey of Clinton, Lisa Allen and Eric Allen both of Clinton, three great grandchildren; Madison, Jonathan, and Parker Baughey.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one Brother William, three Sisters; Marie Curtis, Anna Lou Young, and Alice Rhoades.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 20 at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.  The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 21, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Riddle officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton.
