RUBEN ROJAS SR.
Ruben Rojas Sr., 77, of Adrian, died Saturday, March 01, 2008, at Tendercare of Adrian. He was born February 9, 1931, in Thrall, Texas, to Tomas and Lonjina (Nieto) Rojas.
He had been employed by Ford Motor Company in Saline for 39 years. After his retirement from Ford Motor Company, Ruben traveled extensively throughout the continental United States, the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Australia. He enjoyed listening to his Tejano music and attending Mexican dances.
Ruben is survived by a son, Stephen D. Rojas and his wife, Sonya of Waterville, Ohio; two daughters, Margaret Tabb and her husband, Steve of Ann Arbor and Lori Rojas of Houston, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ruben Rojas Jr.; a brother, Benjamin Rojas; and a sister, Sara Navarro.
Funeral services for Ruben will be Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Amaya officiating.
At Ruben’s request, cremation will follow the services. His cremains will be scattered at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home.
