Indian swimmers fly past Adrian

Tecumseh’s varsity girls swim team traveled to Adrian on Thursday, Oct. 29, and defeated the Maples 105-78.
 
Nine of 12 events were won by Tecumseh. The Indians won two of three relays, the 200-yard medley relay (Ashlyn Clewis, Alicia Dusseau, Karlee Marsh, Brynn Nevins, 1:55.51) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (Marsh, Nevins, Clewis, Dusseau, 4:03.19).
 
Adrian placed first in the 200-yard freestyle relay (Nicole McCann, Grace Harris, Ashlyn Childs, Mariana Benardo, 1:49.26).
 
Marsh placed first for Tecumseh in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.23) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.40) while Dusseau placed first in the 200 IM (2:21.77) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.56).
 
Tecumseh’s Megan LaFollette placed first in diving with 225.65 points.
 
Nevins placed first for Tecumseh in the 100-yard freestyle (57.91) while Veda Massanari-Thatcher placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:53.96).
 
Adrian’s McCann placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.84) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.83).
